About Peet Hook Media

What does Peet Hook mean?  The small town of Edmeston, located in Upstate NY was called Peet Hook in the early 1800’s.  Peet comes from an early resident named Benjamin Peet, and Hook is a Dutch term meaning Settlement.  The name Peet Hook has been used for a variety of things in the area over the years, and to me it captures the essence of rural upstate New York.

Peet Hook Media has roots in a small town, and we focus on partnering with small businesses, creatives, and solopreneurs.  We don’t just design a website, install it, and walk away.  Our intent is to build an online presence for a business, and work with them to evolve it as their business needs evolve.  And to keep it fresh and relevant going forward.
